Saturday we had nothing planned, so we decided to take off to the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in Dayton, Ohio which is only 30 minutes from our house. It was amazing and it's free! We took Trenton's friend, Matt, who lives in the neighborhood with us.

It was so cool to see huge military planes inside this huge museum. Several of them are open so that you can walk inside.

When we got back home we decided to check out "The Cone," an ice cream stand that everyone here raves about. We didn't understand what all the excitement was about until we tried it. No wonder it is always packed! It has the most unusual ice cream menu including 8 different flavors of dipped ice cream cones and lots of kid-friendly sundae toppings.

After the ice cream, we decided to take a family walk at an awesome park we recently discovered called Sharon Woods. It has a 3 mile loop around a lake where you can rent pontoon and paddle boats. We didn't make it the whole 3 miles, but it was nice getting some fresh air and burning off a few ice cream calories.

The playground at Sharon Woods which has a water play area and padded foam under all the play equipment. Love it!

mmm... we'll have to visit THE CONE next time we come out.
What a very fun, and such a great park! You guys always find the greatest things to do as a family. We have a place called "Softies" that sounds a lot like the "Cone".Yummy
