The Underground Railroad Museum offered free admission on Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday, so I took the opportunity to check it out with the kids since they were home from school. Earlier in the day we went to CoCo Key Indoor Water Resort, but Dallin was afraid of the water, so it didn't last long.
The bad guys! Not sure we should have posed with this guy on MLK day, but the kids were impressed by his gun.
Outside patio overlooking the Ohio River. It was chilly, but Trenton never seems to think he needs a coat or long sleeves these days.
I thought this statue made of chains that would have been used on slaves was pretty cool looking. The museum was filled with art representing the pain of slavery, but the kids just ran through looking for "cool" things to see. We saw the entire museum in 45 minutes!
