We have had a fast paced summer with lots of time spent making memories with family. It was great to spend a weekend with the Borders cousins mid-July for Nathan's aunt's wedding. Even Trenton got in some cousin time :) (He loves me taking his picture these days!)
Ashleigh is a big hit with all of her girl cousins. She is so patient and genuinely loves helping with little ones. She could not get enough of baby Cate.
Dallin couldn't get enough of baby Cate either. Once he learned she didn't mind his hugs, he couldn't stop trying to cuddle her. It was fun to see this soft side of him!
Part of the fun of our cousin weekend was spending the night in a tent in the backyard! Girls in one tent and boys in the other. Everyone made it through the night, so I think we could make this an annual tradition :)
Ashleigh and her cousin, Ella, share a birthday week, so we were able to celebrate the girls' birthdays while we were all together. What better way to celebrate than with a cookie cake and camping!
Ashleigh and her baby tending skills continued through the whole weekend. She will be such a sweet mother one day! I think she should head to Chicago next summer to perfect her babysitting skills with Aunt Katy!
Dallin and cousin Nora were little buddies at the wedding on Saturday. Nora won his heart by offering him fruit snacks during the ceremony.
We had a little Miller family reunion on Sunday after the wedding while everyone was still in town. It is a rare opportunity to have all the Miller grandchildren together, so we attempted a picture. Getting everyone to look the same way for a 1 second picture is impossible so this is the best I got. It was a very hot day, but it was fun to spend some time together eating and playing.
