All dressed up for Easter Sunday. I have mastered the art of getting everyone up, dressed beautifully, fed, and out the door in 30 minutes by myself since Nathan has to be at church 3 hours before us! The key is preparing everything the night before and getting up one hour before everyone else to get myself completely ready first.
The Easter bunny brought Dallin these cool TMNT sunglasses and he insisted on wearing them to church.
Out of order, but we colored eggs Saturday afternoon before Easter. Only the youngest two decided to participate this year.
Dallin's favorite egg!
Dallin got to see the Easter bunny Saturday afternoon as well. He loved him!
A nearby church puts on the best Easter egg hunt every year! They put out 3000 eggs and allow the kids to get as many eggs as they can until they are all gone. I had to hurry Dallin along because he wanted to open his eggs each time at first.
He got the hang of it though and started filling up his basket. It cracked me up how many eggs he would walk past to get to a certain egg he had spotted.
All done - a basket full!
When I found Owen (we were all in three different areas because of age groups) he was busy opening his eggs looking for the $5 that was hiding in one egg in each age category. We didn't find it this year, but all three kids got quarters and nickels in some of their eggs :)
Ashleigh's loot. Her name was drawn for one of the door prizes.
After the hunt, the church served us lunch. It was an awesome lunch with homemade mac-n-cheese for Dallin and baked beans for Owen.
