T-Ball Trophy

 T-ball season for Owen just finished.  It was really a short season due to weather and vacation.  To celebrate the team's last game, the coach took the whole team out for ice cream.  The things ten 5-year olds talk about when all together is very, very hilarious and frightening.  They were a hoot to watch all together off the field.  Owen fit right in - notice his silly face at the moment I took the picture!

 Trophy time!  Owen was very excited to get his t-ball trophy.  He wanted to call a family meeting when we got home so that he could show us his new trophy as well as his old ones.  He was even more excited to learn that he could take them to school for show-and-tell next year in kindergarten. 

One proud boy!  Owen played a great season.  T-ball is definitely not a fast-paced sport, which is tough for someone with Owen's energy, but he was a fabulous player.  He grew tremendously as a player over the course of the season.  He is ready for coach-pitch next though!  He is an awesome hitter!
