Happy Birthday, Ashleigh!

Ashleigh celebrated her 9th birthday Saturday with a skating party.  She is such a sweet and caring young lady.  It is evident in how much her friends love her.  Everyone had a great time skating for two hours and thankfully no one got hurt!  Ashleigh wanted a cookie cake for her birthday, so I found a giant cookie sandwich that was amazing!

The friends...Owen and his friend didn't mind skating with all the girls!

Present time!  Her favorite gifts were Webkinz, Nintendo DS games, Polly Pockets, a Baby Alive doll that really wets, Barbies, a Justice purse, and craft kits.
No party is complete without pizza!
It turns out Owen is a great skater!  I have been taking him on and off over the past year, but didn't realize he finally got it!  He had a blast to say the least!  We have found our new regular family activity!

Ashleigh in her skates.  We are so proud of the wonderful young lady Ashleigh has become.  She is very helpful and tender with her brothers.  She is a wonderful friend...Everywhere she goes she makes a new friend.  She has a smile that warms the heart of everyone she meets!  She is so talented on the piano.  She loves having fun and is so great about creating her own fun.  She has a testimony of our Savior and loves serving others.  She is the first to say a prayer when faced with a challenge.  We love you, sweet girl!
We also went to see Brave for Ashleigh's birthday.  We had been wanting to see it, but we had to wait for Trenton to come home from camp, so what better day to go than Ashleigh's birthday!

In the theater waiting for the movie to start.
We met up with Aunt Julie on Ashleigh's birthday too.  We found a fun mall that had an indoor children's playground and train rides.  Trains are Dallin's favorite!  Sorry Julie, you're a trooper though!
