Happy 1st Birthday!

Owen's 1st birthday is today. Can you believe it? Trenton got him balloons because Owen absolutely loves them. When we go to the store he always points and squeals at them. Today he finally got one...or three. Here is a list of what Owen is up to these days:
1. He loves all food as long as it's not baby food. His favorites are green beans and turkey.
2. He loves his bottle and I am afraid it may take me a little longer than it did with my other two to get it away from him.
3. He loves animals especially dogs. One of my friends has a giant dog and Owen thought he was the funniest thing and even let him lick him in the face.
4. He hits people in the face as his way of showing affection.
5. He weighs 23 1/2 pounds! He is so big, but yet not chubby.
6. He will not walk in regular shoes, so he is currently only wearing "slippers".
7. He loves playing chase with Dad and Trenton.
8. He has a special relationship with Ashleigh that is unexplainable.
9. He loves books especially ones with touchy feely stuff.
10. He LOVES balls. He will drop anything for a ball.
11. His new favorite toy is a corn popper that is SO loud! He loves toys that make noise.
12. He has such a big heart and will instantly break into tears if he thinks he has done something wrong.
13. He sleeps all night long except when he is sick.
14. He has had a ton of ear infections and there is big possibility he will end up with tubes soon.
15. He knows what the telephone is for and will often run to it when it rings and then carries it around on his shoulder while babbling just like he is talking on the phone.
16. He has a smile that melts my heart everytime. All I have to do is smile at him and he turns his little smile on. It is priceless.
