Wildcat of the Week

It was Dallin's turn to be the Wildcat of the Week this week.  He brought home a sign to hang on our front door for the week along with a list of things he was supposed to do during the week.  The most exciting job was taking care of the class animal, Kinder, for the week!

On Monday, Dallin had to bring in a poster of pictures of him with his family.  He also had to make a paper cutout of himself and fill in a sheet with all of his favorite things listed on it.

Mom was told to come in to eat lunch one day during the week, which is always fun.  It's the easiest way to gain rockstar status instantly.

Then on Friday Dallin has to return Kinder's journal with pictures of all the exciting things they did together during the week.  We tried to fit in a few exciting things, but that's kind of hard with literally a one day notice that Kinder is coming home for the week.  We took Kinder to see Dallin's first play, Pete the Cat, based on one of his favorite books.

Waiting for the play to start.  We had to get there extra early because seating is general admission, which means first come, first serve.

Kinder spent some time playing with Dallin on our playground

 and riding scooters.

Then we took Kinder to YoYo Berry to get ice cream on early release day.  Kinder and Dallin got vanilla ice cream with candy corn, M&Ms, mini cookies, and Nerds.  All of Dallin's favorite things!

Hopefully Kinder had enough excitement with us this week.  He heads back to school tomorrow for his next adventure - along with enough treats for the whole class.  Whew, being the Wildcat of the Week is a lot of work for Mom!
