Pizza Cookies

Ashleigh had to make sugar cookies for her advanced math class last week.  It was a lesson in fractions since there are so many fractions in recipes.  She was given the basic cookie recipe, but had to come up with her variation of it.  She created "pizza cookies"!  She cut the dough into triangles and rolled little crust pieces to put on one end.  We iced them with powdered sugar icing that looked like cheese and then tinted a tiny bit bright red for pepperonis.  We even added tiny green sugar sprinkles for seasonings.  They were a huge hit with us and at school.  Luckily she only had to take two cookies to school for her teacher because we devoured the rest!  Way to go, Ashleigh!
