Trenton participated in the National Geographic Bee at the school level earlier this month. He placed in the top ten at his school on a written test, so the "Geo Bee" was the next level of competition. Many of the opening questions were about 50 US States and the later questions were about world countries. Trenton did SO well. He placed THIRD in the whole school. We are SO proud of him. Not bad for a kid who didn't want to do it at all and was forced to try by his Mom :) We Moms know what we're doing, don't we?

so funny. XAnder just did a spelling bee at school and had no desire to study. I had to push him to do it. He did fine and I think enjoyed the experience when it was all said and done.
